Cindy's Mitts

First up, Cindy’s Mitts.  I knit Cindy a pair of Fetching a few years back, which she promptly lost.  Well maybe not promptly but not too long after receiving them.  We prefer to think they were stolen because they were that good. They were Debbie Bliss Cashmerino and they were nice. So then I knit her a stash busting pair in grey wool.  They weren’t long enough for her and she rejected them. Can you imagine? ;-) So here we are 3 or so years later and I just couldn’t take the whining any longer.  I also like her and wanted to surprise her.  And looky that, she even coordinated her nail polish for the photo shoot.
The true color is probably just between these two shots.
Pattern -  Peekaboo Mitts - Knit as written.
Brooklyn Tweed Shelter - Almanac - a little over 1/2 skein.
Size 7 DPN
Sweet little pattern I'd certainly knit again.

The color is great and I love the matching nail polish. I hope they don't get lost or rejected this time!

Does she know how lucky she is? Lost a pair, rejected the next pair and got ANOTHER pair?! Whoa...

How fortunate that I actually decided to check out Patty's blog so I can defend myself! I LOVED the first pair and have no idea what happened to them...I do believe someone must have stolen them, they were that nice! The second pair didn't even come up to my knucles - I think they were "pity gloves" :-) This 3rd pair (after MANY years) are just right - I love them. So yes I did whine about getting another pair because Patty does such a wonderful job of knitting them. I do believe 3rd times the charm, and I will be putting them under lock and key so no one can get to them! I'm so glad Patty decided to surprise me with them, thank you Patty!
